National Youth Day - MRPITI

Swami Vivekananda's 156th birth anniversary was celebrated by the Junior Chamber International India, Padubidri jointly with NSS & Rovers units of MR Punja ITI on 12th January 2019 at the college.

The National Youth Day program was inaugurated by JCH Madhava Suvarna, State Trainer JCI. In his inaugural speech he said, "There are currently 1.8 billion young people between the age group of 10 and 24 in the world. Youth need safe spaces where they can come together, to contribute to the development of their country".

The resource person, Mr Rajendra Bhat, National Trainer JCI inspired the students through his informative and attractive presentation. In his session, he narrated many motivational anecdotes related to Swami Vivekananda, that touched the hearts of the students.

Mr. Anil Kumar Shetty, President, JCI presided over the function. In his presidential address, he highlighted the need for sustaining a good life by taking Swami Vivekananda as a role model. Chief guest, Mr YN Salian, Principal in his address said,"Swami Vivekananda being a true hero to the youth of our nation has enlightend the minds of people through his life style. Mr Prajwal, JCI member introduced the Chief guest, Mr Madhava Suvarna.

Mr Laxmikanth, Training Officer and Mr Hari H, JTO also spoke on the occasion. Mr Suresh S, JTO proposed the Vote of thanks. The staff, students, alumni, volunteers of NSS & Rover units participated in the program.
